Do you deliver flowers?

If you are not able to pick up flowers directly from us, we are happy to deliver within the Quinte area. Our flexibility as a farm and design studio means that we can serve our customers outside of the usual 9 to 5 business hours, and we can accommodate special requests. Delivery fees vary according to location and are available upon request.

I have discovered Dahlia May Flower Farm and love what you do! I would like to place a deposit to secure you for my wedding. How do I go about that?

We neither accept deposits nor make wedding commitments until we meet with you, learn your vision for your big day, and discuss all the details. We want to make sure we share your vision and are well suited to the job. Only then will a quote be prepared and sent to you. Upon your approval, we will take a deposit to secure our services for your wedding date.

I'm getting married in over a year and I would love to have Dahlia May Flower Farm design my wedding flowers. When can we meet?

I love that you are so excited about our flowers and would like them to be part of your special day. We do not, however, offer consultations more than six months from your wedding day. Managing one year's worth of farm work and weddings is challenging, and we must stay focused on our current customers and brides. We want to be able to offer you that same full attention when it is time to discuss your wedding flowers.

Your farm is so beautiful. Can we have our weddings photos taken there?

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate photo shoots on our farm from Thursdays through Sundays; on these days we are attending to our brides and looking after our farmers' market customers. They require our full attention. We can, however, offer our farm as a beautiful backdrop for engagement, maternity, family, and children's photos Mondays through Wednesdays from mid-July to mid-October. An $80 fee secures your evening here and ensures our commitment to providing you with our carefully maintained dreamy flower field, vibrant with the colours you wish for memorable photos. You would be responsible for hiring your own photographer, and we would be pleased to give you recommendations.

May I visit the farm?

We so wish we could say “yes” but our farm is currently closed to the public. While we would love for you to be able to tour our flower fields, we are a working farm. We are often busy completing critical tasks which demand our full attention. All our time is devoted to producing and delivering the blooms you see at our markets. You are welcome to pick up orders of flowers from our farm, provided arrangements have been made in advance.

Our farm stand IS open to the public at our farm from April to December. In the spring you will find potted flowers and vegetable seedings. All summer and throughout the fall we will be stocking our farm stand with our own farm grown flowers. Ready made bouquets will be available. In the winter months our farm stand is full of fresh wreaths and planters, potted plants, fresh centrepieces, and we offer freshly cut Christmas trees for sale. The stand is located at 1226 Stockdale Rd, Trenton.

How big is your farm?

Our beautiful farm is 80 acres, split between two properties. We are currently producing blooms on a small plot of our land, just under an acre. We rent land to local farmers and plan to expand our flower fields in future.

Do you have a flower shop?

Dahlia May Flower Farm does not have a traditional retail outlet. We work out of a design studio on our century farmstead. It is there that we meet with clients and offer order pick-up. We share our address with clients as they require it and we are open by appointment only.

I love your flowers. Where can I buy them?

From May to October we sell our flowers at the Front St. Farmers' market in Quinte West and at the Codrington farmers' market north of Brighton. You may also purchase directly from us at the farm either by appointment or by visiting our farm stand at 1226 Stockdale Rd, Trenton. Be sure to message ahead for availability.
